So you can recognize the matching lid to the can at a glance. Both parts can be stacked - separately - in the kitchen cabinet to save space. With just two clicks, the lid sits on the container and seals it aroma-tight. Steam escapes through the steam valve in the lid when cooking food, while splashes of sauce reliably stay in the container - so there's nothing to clean up afterwards.
